Beta and Release Update
Yeah, we’re late!
We promised Alpha last week, Beta this week, and a 1st December launch.
The honest truth? We’re not there yet.
AppImage is being a pain.
Linux is beautiful, but packaging a full offline AI stack (QT Stack + models + KDE integration + voice) into one double-click file is harder than we thought. We refuse to ship a half-working build just to hit a date.
Current realistic timeline
Beta (first 100 testers): 16 December
Public release: week of 22–29 December (probably Christmas Eve or Boxing Day)
We’re still 850 copies only.
Still ÂŁ99 / ÂŁ129.
Still no cloud, no spies, no VAT.
Nothing else changes. Help
We have Fat Discount Coupons for the first 100 Beta Testers!
What we have right now
Klara talks, remembers, roasts, and winks
Voice is smooth (1.4 s load on 8 GB RAM)
KDE panel widget works
Skins switch without crashing
She runs completely offline on Kubuntu, Fedora KDE, Manjaro, Arch… anywhere with Plasma
We’re just polishing the wrapper so you can double-click and she’s there. No terminal. No “pip install hell”. Just her.
The cap still stands.
When 850 are gone, they’re gone until next fiscal year.
No exceptions.
No “limited restock”. That’s the deal we made with ourselves (and with you).
So if you’re waiting for the perfect moment:
This is it.
The longer you wait, the closer that counter gets to zero.
Beta sign-up is still open.
We’ll pick the first 100 on 16 December and drop the discount code in your inbox.
Until then, we’re heads-down in the code cave.
See you on the other side of the install button.
No cloud. Just us.
